Doug Stone - Scheduling Director

In 2002, I went to International House of Prayer in Kansas City as an Intercessory Missionary after attending three IHOP conferences with friends who became the founders of the Lubbock International House of Prayer. As I was going off to Kansas City to pray full-time, they were starting the house of prayer in Lubbock with the hope of raising up a prayer furnace that would be a catalyst for revival. I am amazingly blessed to have discovered my purpose, to be part of a night and day prayer movement that the Lord is raising up all over the earth. I am so grateful that I have a team of precious saints in my home city who partner with me in prayer and financially to allow me to be in the house of prayer full-time. It is the desire of my heart to see widespread unity and revival in Lubbock & West Texas.

In October of 2008, after being on staff at the house of prayer in Kansas City for six years, the Lord suddenly caused me to know that He wanted me to move back to Lubbock. Since then I have been Prayer Room Coordinator and one of the Associate Directors of Lubbock International House of Prayer. In addition to leading a worship team and several prayer meetings every week, I help recruit and train other musicians, singers and intercessors who volunteer at LIHOP but my first love is ministering to the Lord in worship and prayer.
