Job:  Intercessory Missionary, IHOP - Kansas City, Missouri

About Me

In 2002 I came to International House of Prayer in Kansas City as an Intercessory Missionary after attending three IHOP conferences with friends who became the founders of the Lubbock International House of Prayer.  As I was going off to Kansas City to pray full-time they were starting the house of prayer in Lubbock with the hope of eventually doing the same and affording many others that opportunity.

I feel amazingly blessed that I have discovered my purpose for being on the planet and that I have a team of precious saints in my home city who partner with me in prayer and financially to allow me to be in the house of prayer full-time. It is the desire of my heart to see widespread unity and revival in Lubbock & West Texas. As a member of an Intercessory Prayer & Worship team that leads six prayer meetings a week we regularly pray for revival in the cities of the earth. I include Lubbock and the surrounding area in that intercession.

In praying for my family, friends and ministry partners I regularly focus heavily on the apostolic prayers from Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians as well as Psalm 91 and 103.  The New Testament prayers are the same prayers that Paul prayed over the early churches and they cover just about all of our needs - wisdom, revelation, understanding, walking in love, healing, provision, protection, relationship and ministry.

As an intercessory missionary I spend 50-plus hours each week serving in the IHOP Prayer Room and our ministry also includes evangelistic outreaches and ministry to the poor in the inner city. I believe that God is calling many to a lifestyle of prayer and worship as we approach the end of the age.

I was made for this.  "TAKE THE JOB AND LOVE IT!!!"

singing, praying, helping believers find out and be who God called
them to be

healing, the gifts of the Holy Spirit

folks with a good sense of humor, poignant humor, laughing my big

something comes out your nose)

addicts of every stripe, color & kind; seeing them get free & walking
with them while they do

hungry and thirsty seekers

weak lovers of Jesus that desperately want to be strong ones
