About Me
In the early 1990’s the Lord impacted me in a very profound way about His desire to commune with His people in a more intimate way through prayer and to raise up a generation of young and old who would worship Him in spirit and in truth, putting the First Commandment first place. It is out of this overflow of intimacy with Him that real passion for Jesus and for people comes. I believe that God is raising up a Joel’s army, especially of young men and women and even children. These worshipping warriors will approach the end times with fire and zeal for the house of the Lord. It’s my burning passion to see these young warriors equipped in this city whether they are born and raised in this region or, are just passing through on one of our college campuses. It’s also my belief that one vehicle for city and regional transformation comes through night and day prayer.
I have to admit that being more of an Anna (Luke 2:37) I am more comfortable in my prayer closet than in public ministry but a visit to the Kansas City House of Prayer in 2001 and the impact of this ministry over the years has convinced me that night and day prayer combined with worship is what is on God’s heart for this generation. My hope for this house of prayer is that it will be a blessing and resource to the city and the local church.
More about me: Disciple, wife, mom, teacher, intercessor, worshipper.
Passions: His presence, His heart His works, His people.
