How Can You Be Involved?

The Lubbock IHOP is staffed solely by volunteers.  We welcome anyone with a heart to pray and worship Jesus. There are several ways to participate with us.

Prayer Room

We encourage and greatly appreciate all visitors and regular attendees.  The heart of the Lubbock IHOP is the Prayer Room. The Prayer Room is a place where we gather to intercede for the in-breaking of revival. The intercessory / worship teams use, but are not limited to, four main prayer formats.

  • Intercession is a corporate time of supplication in which the microphone is open for anyone in the room to use biblical prayers to cry out for revival in the cities and nations of the earth.
  • Worship with the Word develops the truths of Scripture by turning the passage into songs and prayers to God.
  • Prophetic Worship seeks to find the immediate flow of the Spirit in our midst.
  • Devotional Worship proves an atmosphere of “soaking” in the Word of God, having our hearts refreshed in intimacy.  All formats are led by worship teams comprised of full-time singers and musicians who mingle their songs with spoken prayers and proclamations which we call the Harp & Bowl Model (Rev 5:8)

Individuals who desire to attend the sessions to worship, soak in the Word or intercede silently or at the microphone are invited to any of the scheduled sessions. (Insert link to the schedule).

Web Conferences & Work Shops

The Lubbock IHOP offers a number of work shops and conferences for individuals and groups who wish to understand more about intimacy with Jesus, intercession and the world wide prayer movement, healing, prophecy and preparing the Church as a victorious Bride for the End Times.

Workshops are also available by request if you are interested in joining an Intercessory/Worship Team or if are considering forming your own team. Contact us at info@lihop.org

We also encourage groups of intercessors who may not have musical gifting to create prayer teams.  Non-musical teams can also schedule a regular prayer time in one of the two hour prayer slots.

Join a Team

The Lubbock IHOP offers several ways to participate as a member or leader of a worship/intercessory or intercessory team. If you wish to help the Lubbock IHOP move toward 24/7 night and day prayer please consider joining or forming a team.  Rotating teams can commit to cover any number of 2 hour prayers sets by making a weekly commitment. Team Leadership: Worship or Prayer Leader For Rotating Teams

  • The Lubbock IHOP welcomes individuals who would like to form and, or lead a Worship / Prayer Team and who otherwise cannot make a commitment to the internship program. A typical team consists of a Worship Leader, a Prayer Leader, 2 to 4 antiphonal singers and any number of musicians.  Teams rotate through a weekly schedule in 2 hour time slots.  A team can pledge as few as 1, 2 hour set per week.  The Worship Leader and the Prayer Leader for a team share leadership responsibilities for the team.

An individual worship leader can also participate by doing a Devotional Set/s. A devotional set usually consist of a singer musician who creates an anointed atmosphere for people to read and meditate on Scripture.

We also encourage groups of intercessors who may not have musical gifting. An individual can form and act as team leader for a non-musical intercessory group.
