, just north of the center of the world :)
We are a bit war-weary here, but God has given us eagles wings to keep soaring above it all and overcome. It's like the only safe place is to be in His throne room! We have seen more physical healings recently (a worker at a supermarket was healed from a headache when prayed for) ) We also continue to preach the Word and pray for a breakout of the
Kingdom
of
God
with signs and wonders. About 50 of us just completed 50 hours of continued prayer and worship at our house of prayer called Tent of Praise ( TOP ) It was great to see young and old all involved crying out to God to intervene in this nation.
The Lebanese Parliament will supposedly vote on a new president next week that could chart a new direction for
Lebanon
(more pro-western, pro-peace with
Israel
) Sadly, 8 of the anti-Syrian MP's have been assassinated till now because of this situation. The assassination bomb last month injured 120 people in the afternoon not far from my house. The pro-Syrian, pro-Iranian opposition has threatened war and to take over government institutions if a compromise president of their liking is not elected. ( democracy
Middle East
style )
In the natural there is such a tug-of-war here for this little nation.
Iran

and is the major financier of the radical Lebanese Shiite Muslim militia Hezballah.
Syria
claims
Lebanon
and has controlled ( and still does indirectly)
Lebanon
politics for 30 years. Both
Iran
and
Syria
war with
Israel
from
Lebanon
territory ( as well as try to thwart
America
's vision of a "new Middle East" from here) Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia and the
Arab
Gulf
states also claim
Lebanon
and have invested billions of dollars here.
France
and
America
have a long history of relationship with
Lebanon
.
Russia
, the European Union, the Arab League, UN, the
Vatican
... the whole world is involved in the crisis right now because of the grave consequences of war, perhaps regional.
It's as if the major powers of the world are positioning themselves. I think its probably what is happening in the spirit realm as well.
I have always had the conviction that God has strategically positioned us here for His greater purposes. For this reason we remain determined by His grace to keep filling the bowls of heaven with our love and our intercession. We simply desire day and night to fervently agree with all that God has in His heart Help us please, we need your wood in the fire!!! Speaking of fire, we have had major forest fires recently that have burned over 5 million pine trees ( 5000+ acres) Many have concluded this was terrorist related. The beauty of
Lebanon
is being turned to ashes.
It's crunch time. Its coming to the end of crisis, or beginning of war. Beyond the natural politics of
Lebanon
, we keep praying, declaring and prophesying life,exaltation of Jesus, awakening of the Bride, overcoming strength, a great harvest, and that
Lebanon
will be the city on a hill for the region. Most of my time is spent with the House of Prayer movement. I am also involved with youth ministry in a school of 800 students, as well as our YWAM DTS.
You've been so good and generous. Thanks to you for your faithful prayer and financial support. When we all get to heaven and you see The Lord and YOUR Lebanese Family.. you will know its been worth it all !! :)
